Troup County School System (TCSS) is joining a statewide celebration saluting the efforts of local school board members. Governor Nathan Deal has proclaimed March 13-17 as School Board Appreciation Week in Georgia. This weeklong observance calls attention to the contributions of local boards of education.
“Our board works together to fulfill its duties and obligations to continuously help improve learning opportunities for students in Troup County,” said Dr. Cole Pugh, Superintendent of TCSS. “They visit schools each month, ask questions of our educators and employees, and provide relevant feedback as they make decisions that impact the students and staff within the system.”
