Named Troup High School’s Star Student, Joshua Wreyford has been focused on his goals for a while. He challenged himself early on to be a full-time dually enrolled student during his senior year. And he’s taken on the challenge with no hesitation.
Of the decision to take advantage of courses on the campus of Columbus State University, he says, “I wanted a head start (of going to college) because it is a lot of money and dual enrollment is a free program offered by the state of Georgia.” He is currently enrolled in five college courses and last semester, he was enrolled in four. The workload does not bother him because he knows the more he gets done now, the less he will have to pay for later.
