Troup County School System (TCSS) will join the National Education Association, National PTA, and National School Public Relations Association in getting social for American Education Week beginning November 13.
The organizations will highlight education activities through the hashtag #PublicSchoolsForAll. TCSS will go one step further in showcasing school activities and district priorities related to literacy on their social sites such as Facebook and the district website. Literacy is one of the top three priorities for TCSS, along with Rigorous and Relevant Instruction and Creating a Culture of Success. District leaders believe showing literacy initiatives that are taking place in the classroom is a great fit for this week of informing the community about public schools.
