Spanish 1 is an introductory course that focuses on language and culture.
Students, we're quickly approaching final exam time, so I'd like to remind you all that I'm available for 1-on-1 tutoring sessions by appointment. Please don't hesitate to set something up!
Ø Monday, December 18 - Periods 1, 4, and 7
Ø Tuesday, December 19 - Periods 2 and 5
Ø Wednesday, December 20 - Periods 3 and 6
Check out the Files/Links section of this page for copies of the PowerPoints I've used in class. Hint: these are a great way to study for exams!
Reminder: Cumulative end-of-term exams will be given between Dec 18 and Dec 20. In order to do well, students should consult the notes and handouts they've been given throughout the semester. If an individual has misplaced these documents, please see Ms Valdés for replacements.
The Duolingo website/phone app offers students a chance to learn Spanish beyond the physical classroom. Students interested in improving their grades are invited to consult with Ms Valdés about using Duolingo to replace low grades or to earn extra credit.
Those simply interested in improving their knowledge of the language are likewise encouraged to use the program in their free time.
