  • 2016 Nationals2016 Nationals

    On June 20th Troup High School senior Lee Schoonover will be traveling to Louisville Kentucky to compete in Marine Service Technology against the best of best of all the other states. Lee has received $15,000 in scholarships so far in the 2 years that he has been competing in SkillsUSA. Lee plans on attending Yamaha School in Atlanta Georgia and pursue a career in the Marine Service field. Congratulations Lee!!

    Lee placed 12th in the Untied States at the National level in Marine Service Technology. Congradulations Lee Schoonover !!

    Lee Schoonover placed 1st in Marine Service Technology.

    Ryan Aaron competed in Power Equipment Technology.

    Ben Wright competed in Collision Repair.

  • 2015 Local SkillsUSA Competition2015 Local SkillsUSA Competition

    On 11/20/15  Troup High School  hosted the 2015 Local SkillsUSA Competition. The students of BMLR, MLR and AST will be competed against each other in automotive related repairs for a chance to advance to the region competition. Sponsored by Napa, Carquest, Bumper to Bumper and Diverse Power.

    The winners of the 2015 SkillsUSA at Troup High school: 1st Place Lee Schoonover, 2nd Place Dylan Brown, 3rd Place Ryan Aaron. Congratulations to these students who will be advancing to the region competition in January at West Georgia Technical College.
