Welcome to LaGrange High! I'm looking forward to the start of my thirteenth year of teaching and second year as part of the Granger family. Before becoming a Granger I taught mathematics in Cartersville, Georgia and prior to that worked as a computer programmer/analyst for the State of Georgia Department of Labor. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Carson-Newman College (now University) and my Masters of Education from Lesley University.
This year I'm excited to be a part of the new Freshman Academy where I will teach Algebra 1 and Accelerated Algebra 1/Geometry. It is my hope that the new academy will provide more time to develop strong relationships with my students.
I have been married to my husband, Brian for 27 years. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of LaGrange First United Methodist Church. We have one child, Jennifer, who graduated from college this past May and a granddaughter, Hannah.
I pray this will be great year for everyone filled with much success! Please feel free to call or email with any questions or concerns you have.
