As we plan for Back to School Troup County, we know there has been an interest in learning options and safety measures for our students and employees. Thanks to the 216-member Back to School Task Force, the Community Survey, the Employee Survey, and feedback from our principals', we have worked together to develop a plan that takes an approach of collaboration and fluidity as health concerns may shift in our community. We want to provide the best possible return to the learning environment under guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, District 4 Public Health, and the Georgia Department of Education's Restart and Recovery recommendations.
We appreciate your patience as the plan was developed with our kids and employees in mind. Below are links to resources and information that can assist our parents as they look to make an informed decision based on their child's learning needs. Please know that the plans set forth in the below documents can be modified or altered based on the direction from our trusted health organizations. We look forward to seeing everyone on August 17, 2020!
