Attention students:  We are having a poster contest in celebration of Red Ribbon Week which is later this month.  This year’s theme is:  “LIFE IS A JOURNEY…TRAVEL DRUG FREE.”  There will be a winner for each grade level.  All posters are due on Friday, October 19th.  Turn in your submissions to your counselor. 
  4. Order your yearbook before November 2nd and you’ll get a chance to guess how many candy corns are in the jar.  If you guess correctly, you’ll receive $10 off your purchase price.  The price is still $40.  Yearbooks will be on sale by the gazebo Friday mornings from 7:30-8:15 or you can come by Room 814 during A, B or C blocks or during your break.  Don’t delay, order your today.
  5. We would like to wish the Mustang Cross Country team BEST OF LUCK as they head to state for competition on Saturday.  We are so proud of you and know you will represent Gardner Newman well.  Go Mustangs.
  6. ATTENTION STUDENTS!!!! If you have Chromebook issues that do not involve the wifi such as no O/S, time stamp, no internet access, won’t charge, won’t come on, won’t turn off, etc. please bring them to the library NOW as there is help on the way! Don’t wait because help will only be here a short amount of time.
  7. Congratulations to both football teams on the win against our cross county rivals last night! Great job Mustangs!
  8. The GNMS Cross-Country Mustangs ran in their first 3 mile race of the season on Thursday and they did an amazing job! Both the boys and girls took 1st place over LCMS at the Pine Road Park Meet host d by LaGrange High School. Individual awards were given to the top 10 athletes which included Gabby Martinez, Caliyah Truitt, Jalisa Kimbrough, Hattalie Hill, Zamaya Thornton, Sophie Nix which placed 2nd and Alyssa Rhaney placing 1st! On the boys side, David Barrientos, Gabe Shaw, Wesley Minicozzi, all received an award. Joseph Haywood placed 2nd and Hollis Stephens placed First! Good Luck at State Tomorrow!
