Super Women Read

Students at West Point Elementary School recently got a special treat when more than twenty community and school system volunteers came out for the first Super Women Read event. Super Women Read is an initiative to help instill a love a reading in students. Each volunteer was assigned to a classroom where they read a story and shared their own personal reading history with the children. The women also told the students how reading impacts them now and how they utilize reading in their careers. A special thank you goes out to all the Troup County women who supported this event!
